Chiseldon born, but having never been on the books of the club as a young player, left full back Tomlinson was Swindon’s final signing of the January 2022 transfer window, joining on loan from Peterborough United. He made an exceptional start to life at SN1, culminating in being named EFL Young Player of the Month for February on the back of three assists and a goal from six games played during the month. A groin injury suffered in the warm up against Bradford kept him out of action for the month of March, and he managed only four further appearances before a knee injury ended his season and his spell in red and white.
