Andy THOMSON

After making his debut in the final game of Swindon's 1993/94 Premiership season, a 5-0 home loss against Leeds United (which meant Swindon achieved the unwanted statistic of conceding 100 league goals), Thomson found himself in the first team the following season - being preferred to the aging Brian Kilcline after the departure of Adrian Whitbread to West Ham. When John Gorman was sacked though, Thomson found his first team opportunties limited under Steve McMahon, and he was eventually sold to Portsmouth for £75,000 in December 1995.
