Czech Republic U-21 international striker, who signed for Swindon on a one month loan deal from West Ham United on the November transfer deadline day during the 2005/06 season, as back-up for Rory Fallon and fellow loanee Hameur Bouazza. Mikolanda’s opportunities were limited at the County Ground, the striker making all but one of his appearances for Town as a substitute - his debut coming in a dire 3-0 home loss to Barnsley on 26th November, and that was followed with a 12 minute cameo in a 1-0 away win at Rotherham. The Czech’s only start came in the home fixture to fellow strugglers Blackpool. Mikolanda missed a couple of good chances before going off early in the second half with a head injury. After that match he fell behind Swindon youngster Ashan Holgate in the pecking order, as Iffy Onuora planned life without the eight loan players who were all due to leave in early January. After the 1-1 draw away at Hartlepool which Mikolanda played the last 20 minutes (he hadn’t featured for 3 games), he returned to Upton Park. PLAYING RECORD:
