Paul MCAREAVEY

Northern Ireland Under-21 international who broke into the first team squad after a spell at Kilkenny City on loan in the 2000/2001 season. When he returned to the club, he expected to be released from his contract, but an injury crisis gave him his chance, which he took well with a goal in the 3-0 victory over Oldham.

He signed an extension to his contract which took him up to the end of the 2001/2002 season, which he spent on the verges of the first team. When his contract expired, he was one of the many players to be released.
