Bill IMRIE

Former Swansea manager Neil Harris persuaded Scottish international Imrie to join the club when he took over as manager in 1939. He was signed for £800, despite only joining Swansea from Newcastle a year previously for £1,500.

Imrie was one of the three Swindon players killed in action in the Second World War.
