Ben HUTCHINSON

A young striker signed on a six month loan deal from Celtic in August 2009, Hutchinson joined a Town side lacking in firepower upfront, and following good reviews from Middlesbrough and Celtic fans, much was expected. However, after making his debut in a 2-1 win over Southend, Hutchinson failed to impress - his lack of workrate not endearing him to the Swindon fans - and he netted just one goal in his fifteen appearances, a well-taken effort to put the Town 2-0 up at Brentford in October, in a game they went on to win 3-2. The arrival of Charlie Austin finally forced Hutchinson out of the side, and he returned to Celtic when his deal expired in January, and was immediately loaned out again, this time to Dundee.
