Bobby was awful in his first few games for the club, and never really found his feet. He established himself as a regular first-teamer during the 1999/2000 relegation campaign, and was often the fans' scapegoat for the team's poor performances. Upon his arrival, Colin Todd told Howe that he could leave the club. However, he remained training, and impressed the manager with his attitude so much that he was allowed to stay, and was given the number eight shirt for the 2000/2001 campaign. Was a regular member of the Town's ineffective midfield for the following two seasons, before his contract expired in June 2002. PLAYING RECORD:
