Dean HOOPER

Signed from non-league Hayes for £15,000 in March 1995, Hooper rarely played for Swindon, only featuring from the bench in the league on six occasions, making his debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town on March 4th. Hooper was sent out on loan a couple of times before his eventual release at the end of the 1996/97 season, and he dropped back into non-league, before joining Peterborough, who he captained for a spell. Later in his career, Hooper was sent-off for Peterborough at the County Ground in the League clash with the Town at the end of the 2000/2001 season, in the match where Danny Invincibile's last-gasp goal ultimately saved Swindon from relegation.
