Steve FINNEY

When Steve Finney scored his first goal for Swindon, in the 95/95 opening day away victory at Hull, nobody knew who he was. By the end of the season, Finney was loved by the fans, due to the crucial goals he scored as Swindon streaked to the Second Division championship.

Though he was a cool finisher in Division Two, he didn't quite cut it in Division One, and was hence sold to Chester.
