A youth product who played for Swindon’s academy system since the age of 10, Evans started to emerge in the first team during the latter stages of the 2015/16 season when he was included on the bench by manager Luke Williams for the games against Oldham Athletic, Bradford City and Rochdale. In late April 2016, Evans signed his first professional contract, describing his play to be "like Michael Doughty - I like getting on the ball, driving with it and making things happen. I always like to work hard and do my bit for the team." He made his professional debut days later as a second half substitute for Jamie Sendles-White in the 3-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town. However, Evans found first team opportunities restricted to just a few appearances throughout the following season, despite being a regular on the bench between August and December. In February 2017, he joined Waterford on loan, but failed to make an impact before returning to England. Evans joined non-league Farnborough on a month's loan in August before turning it into a permanent move shortly afterward. It proved to be a brief spell as Evans returned to the professional game with Cardiff City in early 2018. PLAYING RECORD:
