Scott ENDERSBY

Before joining Swindon, Endersby became the youngest ever player to play in an FA Cup match, for his former club, Kettering. He joined the club on a free transfer in May 1983, and quickly became a fans' favourite - winning the Player of the Year award in his first season.

Under Lou Macari, he was an ever-present in the 1984/1985 campaign, but he lost his place the following year to Kenny Allen - a cause of much frustration. With Allen cup-tied for League Cup games, Endersby refused to play unless he was granted a free transfer by the club - an ultimatum which Macari ignored - instead he signed Richard Key on a non-contract basis.

Endersby left the club shortly afterwards - joining Carlisle for £6,000 after a loan spell.
