A central midfielder who was a regular in Reading’s development sides, East joined the Town in August 2021, in search of regular first team football. He never really found it at Swindon - and though he certainly had more opportunities, the form of Louis Reed in particular restricted those opportunities to substitute appearances and occasional games when Reed was injured or suspended. When he was selected, though neat and tidy, East didn't ever do quite enough to keep Reed out of the side - and he was released at the end of the season, moving on to Bradford City. PLAYING RECORD:
