Born in London, Adebayo came through the youth ranks at Fulham, from where he arrived at the County Ground on a season long loan deal in the summer of 2018. After a tentative start to his Town career, manager Phil Brown kept faith in the 20 year old striker and he registered his first goal for the club in a 3-2 comeback win versus Tranmere Rovers in August - going on to net four times in a seven game spell in the league, including a winning goal at Morecambe and an important late equaliser against Milton Keynes Dons. After that though, he netted just once more in the eighteen matches in which he featured - a winning goal at Port Vale in late November - but with manager Phil Brown departing the club, and Richie Wellens replacing him, the loan deal was cut short - his spell with the club coming to an end in the January transfer window.
