FA PREMIERSHIP - MANCHESTER CITY VS SWINDON TOWN
With Jan Fjortoft having scored six goals in his previous four games, the Town travelled to fellow relegation strugglers Manchester City, knowing that a victory would lift them off the bottom for the first time, and put them level on points with City who were outside the drop zone. Fjortoft again nets, and a controversial refereeing decision denies him a second, before City turn it round to win 2-1, leaving the Town rooted to the bottom of the table, where they would remain for the rest of the season. BBC Match of the Day footage, including a feature on Town boss John Gorman and City boss Brian Horton. February 25, 1994
