Nationwide League Division Two Wednesday, October 24, 2001 |
Swindon Town | Cambridge United | ||
G.Grazioli (84', 90') |
HT: 0-0 | ||
Attendance: 4,882 | Referee: T. Leake |
|
After the original game is the only match in the country postponed due to the fuel strike at a time when Cambridge were flying high in the league, I received a bit of abuse from a random United fan via email. Needless to say, after Giuliano Grazioli won the game for the Town with two goals (one a superb volley), I mailed him back. And then again when they finished bottom at the end of the season. |
