They replaced Anderson and Raven.

Good match. Swindon took the lead in the 3rd minute through Duncan Shearer following up to tap in after Steve White`s shot was parried by the goalie.

Played some excellent football in the 1st half and well deserved the half time lead.
Came out strongly in the 2nd half too and doubled the lead in the 62nd minute with a left wing cross from Tom Jones headed in at the far post by Steve White.

Then followed the two WBA substitutions and 10 minutes of madness.

West Brom won a penalty following a tackle by Calderwood on Chris Whyte.
McNally hit it to the right but Digby made a good save and pushed it away for a corner.

From the resulting corner West Brom exerted more pressure and a shot in the box was deemed to have been handled by Jon Gittens. Penalty no 2!

Up steps Harvey who blasts it over the bar. The Swindon fans go absolutely wild behind the goal.

A few minutes later penalty no 3 for West Brom; this time converted by Don Goodman.

Swindon hold out for a thoroughlly deserved 2-1 win (could have had a lot more; were much the better side). A thoroughlly entertaining watch.
