J.Quinn (41'), D.Caskey (45'), M.Cas (77')
HT: 2-1 D.Duke (25')
Attendance:  4,197   Referee:  M.R. Warren

After Roy Evans resigns as the Town supremo, with the club rumoured to be £3.5 million in debt, David Duke's early goal is cancelled out by strikes from James Quinn and Darren Caskey. Notts striker Danny Allsopp is sent off early in the second half to give the Town some hope, but Neil Ruddock is also dismissed just fifteen minutes later - and Marcel Cas nets again for County to wrap the game up.
