| After two wins on the bounce, Swindon travelled to Villa Park hoping to continue their revival - a goalkeeping crisis though saw Jon Sheffield make his debut for the Town on loan, becoming the first player to wear the number 40 shirt in the Premier League. A hat-trick from ex-Oxford star Dean Saunders helped Villa to a 5-0 drubbing in one of the Town's worst performances of the season - and on the way out, I was told that "that Norwegian you've got's shoite" by a home fan in his best Brummie accent. |
