CHAMPIONS 1995/1996 After two successive relegations, Swindon bounced back in style, comfortably winning the Second Division Championship. |

WINNERS 1992/1993 Swindon regained what the fans saw as their rightful place in the Premiership, beating Leicester in a 4-3 thriller at Wembley, after throwing away a three goal lead. Includes video. |

WINNERS 1989/1990 All for nothing, Swindon beat Sunderland at Wembley to win promotion to the top flight of English football for the first time, only to have their promotion snatched away by the footballing authorities for illegal payments to players. Includes video. |

CHAMPIONS 1985/1986 Under Lou Macari, Swindon cruised to the Fourth Division title, amassing a then League record of 102 points, and breaking sixteen club records on the way. ANGLO-ITALIAN CUP
WINNERS 1969/1970 After their League Cup triumph in the previous season, Swindon were invited to play in the Anglo-Italian Cup, which they won, beating Napoli 3-0 away from home in the final. |

WINNERS CUP WINNERS 1969/1970 As way of recompense for not being allowed to enter the Fairs Cup, this tournament was arranged between the winners of the League Cup and the Coppa Italia. Swindon stunned Italian football, beating AS Roma 5-2 on aggregate. |

CHAMPIONS 1898/1899 In order to increase the number of competitive fixtures they played, Swindon entered the Western League in 1897. The following season, they won their first league title. |

WILTSHIRE
CUP - FIRST WON IN 1886/1887 Very few competitive fixtures were played in the Town's early days - the biggest tournament entered was the Wiltshire Cup, which the Town won for the first six years, gaining a reputation as the best team in Wiltshire. |
